Starting Over: A New Adult Romance #3 by Ryssa Foust

Starting Over (Book #3)

Genre: M/F, Romance

Parker and Catalina have been best friends for as long as she could remember. When circumstances beyond her control force her out of her home and into the streets, Parker is the one she turns to.

Together they decide to leave the misery of the life they have known behind and create a perfect world of their own.

As time goes on, emotions surface and after one special night it becomes clear that Parker and Catalina are more than just childhood friends.

As Catalina yearns for something more with Parker, she is confused at his odd and distant behaviour until the day she discovers his secret. Shocked by what she finds out, she needs to decide if she can forgive Parker when he betrays her trust and her love for him. Catalina must now decide whether she’ll abandon the boy who has always been her saviour. How will her decisions affect Parker’s life?

***Not a Standalone – This is Book Three of a Three-Book Series***

My Review: 4/5 Stars

This is the final book in the Starting Over series. In the last book, Parker was arrested because he pissed off some very bad people.  Catalina is torn and doesn’t know what to do to help Parker. Until she goes to meet Damien. He has a solution for her, but she doesn’t know if it will help Parker.

This was a great ending. I can’t really say much without giving the story away, but I will say that Catalina is a very loyal  friend and Parker was stupid to put her through the stuff he did. I’m a little upset about who Catalina ended up with, but I can’t say I blame her for her choice. Though I think I might have gave that part away, it is a journey for both of them to get where they need to be. There were a few typos, but nothing to bad. Great series Ryssa.
