Excerpt:

At the sound of the key in the lock, Ryan closed his eyes and didn’t move as Henri entered, made a tsk-tsk sound over the mess in the foyer and joined him on the balcony. The sound of liquid splashing over ice and the hiss of the fabric as Henri eased back into his chair brought no response from Ryan. He remained standing, staring at the night sky, unable to form words as his lover sat and watched him in silence. Then he spoke out to the air.

“Just what, exactly were you hoping to accomplish by fucking my wife?”

Henri stood and leaned over the balcony, mirroring Ryan’s stance.

“I thought it was why you brought her. But I’ll say, you were right. She’s amazing.” Henri sipped his bourbon and looked at him.

Ryan turned and frowned at Henri’s deep brown eyes, the eyes that held him the moment they met in Cannes two years ago. That compulsion, the weekend they shared together, led him places he never imagined he’d go and now couldn’t give it up. He shook his head and gazed back out over the Detroit River, remorse and dread twisting his gut in knots.

He shut his eyes once more as Henri’s hands touched his shoulders, kneading, smoothing out the tension in his muscles.

“You can’t distract me. I’m hugely pissed off at you.”

“I know, but at least you won’t be tense so you can really focus on the anger. Now sit so I can reach you.”

Ryan sighed, suppressing a smile at the man’s ability to defuse. It was a talent he wished Grace had. Her tendency to ramp up the ante, to find the sore spot and grind her heel into it until Ryan lashed out, made the whole situation much worse than it usually warranted. Sitting, pouring himself one final splash of bourbon, he let Henri work on his shoulders and upper back, groaning as the knots untied and his neck lost some of its rigid stress.

“Ow, Jesus,” Ryan yelped when Henri’s knuckle dug into his trapezoid.

“Shut up already.” The young man’s voice sounded airy and relaxed. “Let me work.”

After about twenty solid minutes spent over Ryan’s shoulders and upper back, Henri leaned down to his ear.

“She’ll be okay.”

Ryan turned and frowned, wincing as the freshly released nerves in his neck sang out in protest.

“You don’t have to treat her with kid gloves, Ryan. She’s a grown woman, a successful author. She’s used to being on her own. Just because you swept her off her feet in an admittedly romantic fashion doesn’t mean she needs to be coddled like some hot house rose.”

“I think I know how to…”

Henri took his hands off Ryan’s shoulders. “You know what, I don’t think you do. And that’s part of the problem.”

Henri flopped into his chair and propped his bare feet in Ryan’s lap.

“I hardly think a guy who managed to stay married about thirty minutes is qualified to…”

Henri held a hand up cutting him off yet again.

“Don’t be condescending. I never claimed to know anything about women. I just think I have a handle on this one—you know, they one we want to share our lives with?” He raised an eyebrow at Ryan. “If that’s still your grand plan, that is.”

Ryan pushed the younger man’s feet off his legs and stalked back inside the condo. “How did she get home?”

“I took her.”

Ryan stuck his head back outside as he unbuttoned his shirt and yanked it off. “Great.”

Henri rose and took the two steps between them quickly, hands on Ryan’s biceps, pinning the taller man against the French doors, his dark eyes angry and hurt. Ryan glared at him.

“Park the attitude all right? I’m just trying to fucking help you get over yourself long enough to salvage your marriage. If you stepped out of your God-damned pity party for half a second you’d see that, you ass.”

Excerpt:

Her skin prickled with exposure to the cool air as his strong hands moved slowly up both legs. Henri focused on her hips, kneading out tension she always held there. But the innocent nature of the moment was long gone. The sensation of his strong hands on her made her want to lift up and expose herself to him. If he didn’t watch it she was going to come right here against this silly massage table.

“Let’s turn you over,” he said as he held the blanket up modestly, which made her chuckle. He’d been close enough to finger her a few minutes ago and she wouldn’t have stopped him either so why the sudden propriety now?

She lay on her back as he sat next to her and took her arm on his lap, working through her shoulder tightness. When her fingers brushed up against what was an unmistakable hard on under his shorts, she gasped and pulled her hand away.

“Sorry,” she whispered, mortified.

“It’s okay.”

Henri put her arm back in place so he could continue to work his way down to her hand, which he caressed finger by finger and into her palm in a way that caused her breathing to quicken.

When he closed his lips over her index finger and sucked, her entire body zinged in response. He paid the same careful attention to each digit and ended with a light lick to the center of her palm, nearly sending her over the edge.

She was panting by the time he switched over to her other arm. She left her hand in his lap and brushed her fingers ever so lightly across the silky fabric of his shorts, just to see how he’d react. He shifted closer to allow her more contact and she stroked his full length twice before he took that hand to give it the same thorough and firm caress. By the time he closed his lips over her finger again, nothing prepared her for the fire of emotion and pure need his lips and tongue ignited.

Henri placed her arms under the blanket and passed a very light hand over her nipples, now hard buds of flesh poking through the fabric. Her breath came in shaky gasps by the time he uncovered one leg and propped her foot against his naked chest. She gaped at his amazing muscle definition as he bent her knee to flex her hip. With each bend, his arm came in direct contact with her bare pussy.

Henri kneaded the flesh of her thigh before moving down to rub each toe, then the sole of her foot, which sent those same zinging, nerve rattling sensation straight up to the top her head. She stretched her hands over her head and allowed the blanket to fall away. Eyes closed, she reveled in the pure sensation of his touch. By the time he switched over to her other leg and placed her foot on his chest again, a low moaning sound had begun in in her throat and had to force herself not to grab him and pull him on top of her. He stretched her knee towards her chest.

“You’re very flexible, yes?” His voice was hoarse.

“Yes,” she breathed, tilting her hips up to make contact with his arm.

The last time he bent her knee she felt his tongue flick her nipple. She realized he was pulling the sheet off her completely and she gave no resistance. Raising her arms up over her head again, Grace stretched like a cat in the windowsill.

She heard him make a sound deep in his throat before he ran his strong hands from her shoulders down to her nipples and across her stomach. He stopped to knead her hips once more then kept moving down her thighs to her calves and then to her sensitized feet. She arched up and gasped as she felt his tongue again, this time right on her clit. He teased her flesh then sucked briefly before standing up.

Grace kept her eyes closed, her body was on fire, every nerve ending crying out for more. But he seemed to be done so she struggled up to a seated position.

“”Would you like a bit more? An internal massage, perhaps?”

“Yes,” she nearly yelled out then felt herself blush. “I mean…that’s sort of a lame line, though.”

He chuckled. “I’ll work on my lines a little, after this.” His low, accented voice made her shiver.

Jake (MMM) by Bea LaRocca

23525656

Jake (Kinky in Kansas #1)

Genre: M/M, Erotic, Romance, Ménage

Synopsis:

When Jake Campbell lands his dream job as ranch-hand in training at the Striker Ranch, more than one dream comes true for the handsome young cowboy.

Jake has never told anyone that he’s gay, but the powerful physical attraction that he feels for the foreman, Jackson Stone, and his right-hand man, Nate O’Connell, leave no doubt in his mind that handsome, muscular men do it for him. They’re probably both straight though, I mean, most guys are, right?

Jake decides, better to keep his desires to himself, than risk being rejected, ridiculed, or worse. So, he keeps his mouth shut and waits. He doesn’t have to wait long as Jackson makes his own desires known at the first opportunity. Thrilled to learn that Jackson and Nate are together and that they both want him to join them, he eagerly embarks on his first sexual adventure. How can they build something more when trouble keeps coming their way?

Excerpt: 18+ only

Fuck, Jackson. I’m sorry,” Jake panted as he leaned forward, resting his forehead against Jackson’s clean-shaven chin.

“What for?” he asked, surprised.

“For c–c–coming so fast. W–we were s–supposed to—you kn–know?” Jake blushed again.

“Oh we will, don’t worry. Just relax for a minute,” Jackson suggested, “and never apologize for coming.”

“Okay.” Jake grinned shyly, letting Jackson know that he’d recovered enough to stand on his own by backing away from him slightly.

Jackson released him, searching his back pocket for something, a frown of confusion creasing his forehead when he didn’t find it.

“Looking for this?”

Jake nearly jumped out of his skin when Nate spoke up, but he hurriedly stuffed his now flaccid cock back into his jeans, still careful as he yanked up the zipper.

Jackson sighed heavily, accepting the crisp, white handkerchief from Nate’s outstretched hand.

“I thought that you’d decided to head into town with the others?”

“What, and miss this party?” A huge grin lit up Nate’s face, his beautiful blue eyes warm with amusement. And something else.

“Ah, w–we were j–just—” Jake swallowed hard, running a nervous hand through his thick brown hair. Christ, had Nate seen them?

“Just about done from the looks of it,” Nate teased. “For the moment at least.”

“Knock it off, Nate. You’re embarrassing Jake.”

Embarrassing? Shit! Jake was mortified. He glanced nervously between the two men, catching a look between them that surprised him. Some sort of silent communication that he was unable to decipher. What in the hell is going on here?

“Sorry, Jake,” Nate apologized immediately. “I’m only teasing. I do that.”

Jake cleared his throat and stammered. “I kn–know. It’s okay. I like th–that about you,” he confessed.

“See, Jackson? I told you so. Jake likes me too.” His grin was triumphant. “Don’t you, Jake?”

Nate turned to him, a question in his eyes. A question that it was obvious that he already knew the answer to.

Jake looked from Jackson to Nate and back again, unsure of just how much he should admit to. Jackson already knew how he felt about him. Did Nate? Did they know that he had the hots for both of them? Would they be okay with that or would it piss them off? He really, really, wished that he knew more about this stuff.

“I…um…”

“Relax, Jake.” Nate moved closer to him, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder. “I understand. We both do. Don’t forget that we’re just a couple of hot-blooded males too. Just like you.”

Hot? There was no denying that, Jake silently agreed. “I’m s–sorry, but I’m really c–c–confused,” he confessed.

“Didn’t Jackson talk to you? I saw you two together, so I thought…” Nate’s voice trailed off as he glanced over at Jackson expectantly.

Jackson sighed. “We talked, but I didn’t tell him everything,” he confessed. “He’s new to all of this, Nate. I didn’t want to overwhelm him.”

“T–too late,” Jake muttered. “I am…uh…overwhelmed.”

“Why don’t we sit and talk for a while, then?” Nate suggested as he headed over to the blanket, lowering himself down onto it. He sat cross-legged and waited for Jake to join him.

Jake sat down beside him and they both looked up at Jackson expectantly as he leaned against one of the beams. He’d wiped off his hand and stuffed the soiled handkerchief into a back pocket of his jeans.

“The thing is, Jake, we noticed that you’re attracted to Nate too.”

Oh fuck! “I…um…”

“It’s okay, Jake. I feel the same way about you,” Nate reassured him.

Shocked, relieved, Jake glanced back and forth between the two of them again, his gaze finally settling on Jackson, hoping to gauge his reaction. “You’re not m–mad?” he asked him nervously.

“Of course not. Nate’s an attractive man. I wouldn’t be with him if he wasn’t,” Jackson teased.

Holy shit! How in the hell did I miss that one? “You two are together.” Jake’s words were a statement this time.

Jackson nodded. “We’ve been together for a few years now.”

Jake gulped and glanced over at Nate, still sitting beside him. “So, you’re not m–mad either?” Jake had a feeling that he didn’t need to clarify his question.

“You mean because I caught my boyfriend with his tongue down your throat while he was jerking you off?” Nate pretended to think about it for a minute. “No. Not really. Although I did think that I’d be joining you.” He turned his head then to glare at Jackson.

Jackson shrugged. “An opportunity presented itself.”

“So I see.”

Jake’s head was spinning. Just a little while ago, he’d been wondering if he’d ever find someone, if he’d ever have the opportunity to explore his sexuality, and now, here he was, smack dab in the middle of his favorite fantasy. He’d had sex with Jackson. Well—sort of. Now Nate was here too, saying the most wonderful things. The two men that he wanted the most, wanted him just as bad. As birthday presents went, this was one hell of a gift—even if it was three days late…

“I think Jake’s catching on,” Nate teased.

“We’d never ask you to do anything that you don’t want to do, Jake. If this is all too much for you—?”

“Jake may have doubts, but his dick is on board.” Nate grinned broadly as he glanced at Jake’s crotch.

Sure enough, he was rock hard again. Jake shifted uncomfortably. Throwing caution to the wind, he undid his jeans, freeing his erection.

“Are you sure about this, Jake?” Jackson asked again, ignoring Nate altogether.

“Are you kidding?” Jake’s grin mirrored Nate’s.

My Review: 5/5 Stars

Jake Campbell is a 21 year old ranch hand and has never been kissed or touched by a male or female. Working on Striker Ranch he is surrounded by sexy men, two in particular. Coming from a traumatic childhood home will he get over his past and welcome his future?

Jackson Stone and Nate O’Connell have both had their eye on the new hire since he came to work at the ranch. They were cautious in the beginning, but when they knew Jake was interested in them, they held nothing back.

Everything is going fine with the three lovers until Jackson needs to move one of the hands into his home to make room for two new ranch hands. When the other workers find out that Jake would be moving, they could all are less except for one. He’s out for blood.

These three men together are explosive in and out of the bedroom. With Jake being a virgin it lets Jackson and Nate open him to new experiences, but everything is not peachy between the three lovers. When it comes to Jake, Jackson and Nate are very protective of him because of his childhood. Jake wants to show them, mainly Jackson, that he can take care of himself, but one or both of them steps in to save him at every turn. When Jake thinks they have come to common ground Jackson steps over the line and him and Nate are keeping things away from him that effects all of them. When Jake finds out he is hurt beyond belief and says some mean things to Jackson, only to have him injured that same day. Jake doesn’t know which way is up and he only wants for Jackson to live. Can these three men overcome everything that is thrown at them? You will have to read the book to see.

I really loved the way the MC’s interacted with each other, how they came to fall in love and learn new things about each other. There are a couple of things I didn’t like, but it didn’t stop my overall enjoyment of the book. I felt that Nate and Jake spent more time together than Jake and Jackson and I would have loved to read about just the two of them together. The stuttering, I get why she wrote the words like she did to portray the stuttering, but it drove me crazy, but like I said it wasn’t enough to make me put the book down. I actually finished reading it at 1 a.m. the same day I got it. That’s how much I loved it. I can’t wait to read the next book. I already know who I want to read about, but if they don’t come until later I will continue to read the series.

  Author’s Bio:

I can’t remember who taught me to read, but I was reading the Dick and Jane books when I started pre-school, and I’ve been reading ever since. I spent all of the allowance that I received from my parents and grandparents on Scholastic books and record albums (not to date myself)! My interest quickly turned to sci-fi, and then when I was about thirteen or fourteen, I discovered Harlequin Romances.

In high school, several of my friends and I used to tuck them into the textbooks that we were supposed to be reading in class, although I seriously discourage any student from doing this! (It sucks a lot when you get caught!)

I’ve read, literally thousands of books in my life, but I don’t always like the way that they turn out, or sometimes when I don’t like the characters, I won’t even finish reading the story! More than once, I’ve asked myself, “Why does he like her, she’s annoying!”, or, “Why does she like him, he’s mean!”

Of course, I’m an adult now, a single mom and grandma. I don’t get to read as much as I like, not recreationally anyway, as my long stretch of unemployment has encouraged me to return to school. Science textbooks are fairly awesome reading, but math, not so much! But I know that I have to do the work if I’m going to get that B.S. that I’ve been striving for.

A New York state resident all my life, I grew up in a big country house with my sister, parents and grandparents. I still prefer country living to this day although I have family and friends who live in the Big Apple.

My Freshman English teacher told me once that I’m always trying to write a book; of course he was referring to the fact that I was always the last one to leave the classroom when we took an essay exam. But, I guess that he was right.

I wrote my first romance story when I was eighteen but it never saw the light of day. When I finished the story that I began writing last summer, I took the chance and sent it out to Siren-BookStrand and was ecstatically happy that they decided to publish it.
